In an attempt to make my blog a better place, I enrolled in “Blogging 101” from WordPress and my first assignment is to introduce myself.
“Who are you and why are you here?”
This is what comes to MY mind first…
Brian (to himself): Who are you? Who are you? (attaches ballpoint pen to lip, puts top in his nostril) I am a walrus.-The Breakfast Club
So by now you have guessed correctly that I am a Generation X’er. A forty-something person just trying to find my way to live a fulfilling life.
I’ve been blogging for a bit so you can check out my about page.
But I will delve a bit deeper here for the sake of prosperity.
This is harder than it looks.
I have a lot of labels-wife, mother, daughter, sister, nurse, friend to many, enemy to some.
I am kind and compassionate, but sometimes I am wicked. (See Nellie)
I am loyal and true to my roots. (My upbringing roots, not my gray hair roots that are starting to show through! Damn, I gotta make a hair appointment).
I am funny and sarcastic sometimes.
I am sappy and sentimental most of the time.
I am more spiritual than I ever thought I would be, and I believe in a loving God.
I like to be creative so I started this blog to share ideas and projects, recipes, tutorials and do-it-yourself designs. Sometimes I pepper it with random musings on life. (or maybe I salt it, I’m not sure…)
I’m here blogging because I’d love to share my projects and ideas with whoever is interested on the internet. Hell, if Kim K can share her big booty with the world, surely I can share my dresser makeover. Right?
So welcome to my little corner of the world. I hope you stay.
